US Orthodox Bishops Approve Sign Language Lexicon, Continue Catechism Work

The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States met in Pittsburgh in October 2026 to approve a sign language lexicon for Orthodox Christian terminology. The body also confirmed its priority on developing a common catechism, which occupied the majority of its session.
