O Cathedral of Hydra Celebrates the Dormition of the Theotokos

The Cathedral of Hydra held a grand celebration for the Dormition of the Theotokos, with a hierarchical vespers led by Bishop Ephraim. The event included a procession with icons and a sermon by Bishop Ephraim.

Ακολούθησε η κατανυκτική λιτάνευση των Ιερών και θαυματουργών εικόνων της Παναγίας «Φανερωμένης» και της Παναγίας του «Μαλίκη» ενώ μετά την αρτοκλασία ο Σεβασμιώτατος εκήρυξε τον Θ.Λόγον με θέμα το Πάνσεπτο πρόσωπο της Κυρίας Θεοτόκου.

Ακολούθησε η Ιερά αγρυπνία με τον Όρθρο και την Αρχιερατική Θ. Λειτουργία.

Έψαλλε ο χορός « Αντιφωνικό Μέλος» υπό την Διεύθυνση του πρωτοψάλτη κ. Γεωργίου Καμαριάρη, ενώ την ακολουθία μετέδωσε απευθείας ο Ρ/Σ Πειραϊκή Εκκλησία 91.2 fm.

Κατά την λιτανευτική πομπή τη μερίμνει της Αντιδημάρχου κ. Μαίρης Κάτσικα ερίφθησαν πυροτεχνήματα .

Και με αυτές τις λατρευτικές εκδηλώσεις έληξαν για εφέτος τα ΘΕΟΜΗΤΟΡΙΚΑ.

Την ευθύνη της οργάνωσης και την Τελεταρχία είχε ο Γενικός Αρχιερατικός Επίτροπος πρωτ. π. Ακίνδυνος Δαρδανός ως προϊστάμενος του Ιερού Καθεδρικού Ναού.
